Port the manifolds?

When we did Taylor'* headers I remember looking at the front manifold...ACK! Needs major porting.
Don't remember the rears, but again the guy I know didn't bother with the rear (but he'* lazy like me).

If you have a air compressor, buy a cheap die grinder and a carbide bur. It will hog all that metal out and there are alot of attachments to make the surface mirror smooth. Like a diamond polisher. These are not big investments. A Demel tool would work if you have the time. They make carbide burs for those as well.This is not a expensive thing to do .No I haven't done this yet. I work on plastic molds that make BMW parts.

OR bite the bullet and save up for some real headers!
