I've heard that Matrixes are better built than the Vibe overall
That doesn't suprise me, but of course those two cars are quite unique. Then Suzuki jumped on the bandwagon with that POS whatver, the name escapes me.

What car did Suzuki released based on the same platform? Is it that ugly Aerio?

You know, other than some body panels, etc and interior pieces, aren't the two the same? They even come with the same engine options :P

You know, superchargers on I4'* aren't all that uncommon. Various aftermarket applications are available for Civics, Accords and such - and now that I think about it, a very mild, bolt-on supercharger is available for the 130hp Toyota motor. It gives you about 20hp and 20lb-ft. Doesn't sound like much, but for a car that gets to 60 in about 8 seconds, it can do you some good... NA Bonnevilles would have to watch it

But if you're referring to stock, this isn't the first time Toyota'* supercharged a four cylinder. Remember the Previa - the old, not very successful Toyota van? It had a 2.4L I4 making about 140hp... the optional supercharger gave it about 200hp, 200lb-ft. And the first generation MR2? It'* 1.6L I4 was available with a blower, perhaps not in North America, but in Japan for sure. It'* a common swap for folks with 80'* RWD Corolla hatchbacks that came stock with the same 1.6, only N/A. This thing was good for about 145-150hp in the MR2, 170 with newer models. Remember, this is a light car, so it goes pretty fast

Bingo. Dead on. A co-worker of mine has a Jetta with an Eaton M45 sitting on it. Cute little thing, kitted up for the VW community by Neuspeed.

Of course, it'* still just a volkswagen!
(I keep telling him that, cuz it pisses him off).

Hiya Mike!
