I'm seriously thinking about having my plug wires changed. What are some that people suggest? What are the best? I've heard that getting them changed can cost a lot, can anyone back that up? Are there any plugs that I should get with the new wires? I changed my plugs a couple months ago because my car was running like ****.(Bosch -Copper, but that was before I heard about Bosch plugs on the forums.) My car is running MUCH better now, but am always looking for improvement. Any help'* appreciated. Thanks.

I went with Taylor 8mm (from the GP Store). They come in various colors and are good performance wires. You may also go with the OEM or Accell. I would not go with anything smaller than the 8 mm, though. The Taylors are pre sized for our engines and are heat resistant.

As for price, I don't remember how much they were--$35 sounds about right. Don't let anyone else do your plug wires for you. It is an easy swap--especially since you are probably running an NA 3800. Just remember to change one at a time.

As for plugs, I would recommend the Delco platnums. They are designed to go 100,000 miles between replacement. They are around $6 a piece, though. Well worth the money considering that you shouldn't have to worry about them for a long, long time.

BTW the AC-Delco plugs are 41-932 gap it to 0.060 These are the Delco Platinums.. but in actuality.. its the same as the NGK Iridiums..

Go for overkill and get MSD wires!

The wires would take approximate 45 minutes with beer breaks and all.. ha ha ha...
It'* really not that hard with Bonneville since of the enormous room we got under the hood.. simply take one old wire out... pop in the new one.. take the next old wire out.. pop in the new one again.. do that for 6 times and you're done already.
