Keeps the engine bay from heat soaking and degrading components and plastics.
Also it gives me a visual so I can always catch things before they become a problem.
Also since I am continually working on something, it has to be open anyways.

I'm gonna do some runs at the track in a couple weeks with race fuel and see if the 3.2 helps or hurts.
So Allmachtige, what is your conclusion on the 3.2" ?

I had been getting only 9.0 psi with the 3.4" pulley.
With my 3.3" I get about 1/2 lb boost to about 9.5 psi and it seems to run great.
With the 3.2" the boost jumps another 1/2 lb to 10. psi the engine runs hotter.
It feels stronger.
Don't laugh but I still don't have a laptop to run with my AutoTap to check for KR.

I have reinstalled the 3.3" and it runs cool and strong now.

When I run with the 3.3" the temp stays at 175-180 F. The key off fan on feature of the INTENSE PCM will only turn on the fans after a performance run.

When I run the 3.2" the temp rises about 10 F. The fans always come on after I turn off the ignition even after ***** foot driving.

Scott confirmed that the low speed fans turn on at 185 F.

I'm shying away from an intercooler for reliability reasons.
This car is my prime family car that is used for out of town excursions. It has to be reliable.
I am not transforming it into a 1/4 mi drag queen. :(

What about the intercooler makes it unreliable?
