PHANTOM GRIP LSD

has anyone heard of phantom grip lsd conversions before. i saw on their site that they have a lsd conversion for all 4T60 trans and the 4T65 also. with tunning capability.
any input would be good, im seriously concidering going this route due to i cant find a donor trans for a diff.

They can work but they do what all the simpler units do and require staging to get them to work properly. This means initially while under full load the power can shift. This is the main reason our transaxles break under load. Once you are going they do work but the wear and tear on the 4t60-e will be still be greater than I personally would suggest. I was going to offer them but I have been testing several options and the phantom is not the reliable way to go for serious use.

If you are running stock hp and don’t plan to undergo serious load then it can help..and the price is cheaper than true preloaded systems.

they also have an upgrade sping kit that is for hard core racing applications. it still have some slip on the turns but straight ahead , i locks the axles. at least that is what the tech from phantom has told me.
