No one here has had good experiences with the S1 L67 and Superchips.
However, I had a good experience with Superchips and the L36.

Superchips and the SSE and SSEi don't do well. The last two purchased were nothing really. The owners couldn't tell the difference.

PCM'* themselves don't ADD POWER. They ENABLE other mods to produce power. The only proven chip in the Series 1 to date is the Jet.
This claim:

HP Increase +17 hp, Torque Increase +27ft/lb

Is ridiculous. A simple chip change won't do that unless you've already modded the car with intake and exhaust, and the PCM is allowed to adapt to them.

There are half a dozen JET PCM'* installed here, including in one of my bonnevilles.

That one works for L27 and L67? I'd be leary.

I've got a Hypertech. Modified shift behavior, 160 thermo. It has been a really long time since I tried to do a comparison between stock and chipped, so honestly I can't say if it made me any faster. I do like being able to run such a cool thermostat, though. They don't make one for 93 however.
