i think he wanted pics from under the car.....i believe the dearly departed can help him out on this one..
thats with the Magnaflow but the stock setup is the same...you could go with the crossflow but you would have to have some extra piping run...youd also have your tips saggin down below the bumper, which i either love or hate...i liked the stock look with nonstock sound myself...but thats just me.

Hey LittleHoov,
Which Magnaflow muffler did you end up using?... I'd like to do the same for my '93 SE...And did your stock inlet/outlet size turn out to be 2 1/4" or 2/12"?...
I've already got a Magnaflow CAT [2 1/2" in/out] waiting to be put on but am wondering about the over-all tone with a setup like yours...

and remember mine was....i hate saying was...a series 2, so yours would sound different, check out BonneMeMns site for some sound clips of cars more comparable to yours, that can be found here http://www.bonneville.fearthepearl.c....php?page=mods
i also ordered my muffler from here http://fle-online.com/ that Magnaflow was like less than 70 bucks, it was free shipping...and rather fast really...id recommend them...but not officially i guess, and neither does Bonnevilleclub.com
good luck, and dont hit a pole

Thanx!
But come to think of it, I seem to recall Willren saying somewhere that SEs of my vintage came both 2 1/4" & 2 1/2".....Not having a caliper to measure the OD of my system, I wrapped a wire around the exhaust pipe and divided by 3.14 to come up with my 2 1/2"
Do you happen to recall which particular Magnaflow part # you used?

Hoov just to clarify, not all SE have the 2.25 exhaust......its really weird some have 2.25 and some have the 2.5. the only real way is to get under the car and measure

that was in the first post i linked you to, but ill be nice and tell you again, but if you have 2.5 piping it wont help you much....i would venture a guess that the SEs starting running 2.25 once the series 2 came to town...but im not 100% sure of that.

Actually I did check out your link, but that part # didn't work in Magnaflow'* own site, so I found what you must have meant: Magnaflow Part #12255 [2 /14" in/out]...... No big deal .....Since I have 2 1/2" I need Magnaflow Part # 12256...I'll be getting one soon for $67.44 [free shipping]
One question though: I see in the pics you posted that on the intake side it was welded but on the exhaust tip side it was clamped: any specific reason for this?
