Default PCM relocation in a '96

I've been thinking about relocating my PCMs under the hood. I've got the crappiest set-up that I've seen. It'* the one with the big plastic cover that partially covers the stock airbox. It'* held on with two long bolts with wingnut type things on the end to turn them. I can't really have any sort of intake with those there.

Anybody ever relocated them? I'm thinking maybe if I find a different washer fluid reservoir I can push them where the old one was. I don't really want to clip and extend the wires if I don't have to. I know how sensative computers can be.

you can remove that plastic cover, and have no effect on the PCM

yeah, but it kind of holds them in. I've seen some '98s with a fitted plastic cover. would this work on mine?

Yes..it should work on yours. I believe the holes are the same and all you would need is the plastic cover...top and bottom.

you really dont even need a cover for the PCM, saves alot of room.....the washer bottle is also different so consider that
