Pacesetter headers and 4T60E transmisson connector. updated
No, I believe Enrique that the connector is burnt. His headers (front crossover flange) were basically resting up against the connector when he installed them at Bill'*. It worried ME that it was that close.

So these headers are designed for a 65-E?
If thats the case that would explain a lot

Ok first I am a moron....
Yes the header was pretty much resting on the connector. I also discovered that a small part of the header flange was actually touching the transmisson casing
. I examined the wire and it doesn't look terrible but some what melted. Yesturday I was ready to drive myself and the car into the East river....
Now that I have cooled off I think it can all be corrected . I cannot remove the connector without removing the front header.
I will take pics later and update...
