A while back I saw a video of a guy that had a 3800 in the front and a 3400 in the back. 2 engines, 4 wheel drive.

I take exception to N/A is boring. I think you'd be more a sleeper when people look under you hood and see no blower but then you lay two strips on the pavement

My vote goes for a sleeper and swap in a L67 + 4T65E-HD engine and transmission.

I use to be able to lay 2 patches down after my intake mods. Before my mods, I couldn't break traction while moving.

I'd like to have tire dealers standing on the corner cheering me on as I take off.

If you found a 98+ donor, that would be best in terms of swapping. It gives you the S2 wiring harness, better pcm, slightly better trans. (There were changes in 9 the newer head design, and a few other small things.

Although..for the prices of the cars I pm'd you. It might be more fun to mod a new car with the extra cash.

It is a big toss up right now. Do I get a new one, or do I mod the **** out of the current one?
Modding the current one would be so much funner and educational as opposed to one that'* already boosted. Not much more fun could be had.

So now the general consensus is, find the parts 98 or newer and do a transplant?
