If you could get those shifts to about 6900 you would be golden. Did you put a camshaft in too?

If it'* just rockers then your shift point is probably cool. I say 14.9 is within reach. The trap will tell the tale specially if you have never dragraced your car. Takes a little getting used to.

Good luck though man!

What is next? Stroker or going into the block for some boring? Or tranny work?

How is the exterior coming?

The stroker kit is too expensive for me. As for boring, I'm already bored 30 over from an engine rebuild a couple years ago.
There isn't much else if anything else i can do n/a.
I would like to maybe get a cutout and/or an underdrive alt pulley though.

Exterior...... I just got real lazy. It honestly looks like crap. Theres still a lot of body work to be done. It'* not getting painted this year. More than likely i'll be doing bodywork here and there till next year.
I would like to get some stiffer drop springs though. I installed KYB-GR2'* in the front but the rear shocks are nicely rusted in. So i'm probably finishing up the suspension next. I pretty much spent all the money I made at my summer internship. But i'll be working part time during the school year so I should be able to get it done.
I'm planning on doing tranny work next summer. Gears, Raysbestos clutches, 3500 or 3800 stall, still trying to figure out what to do with the diff, and all the regular rebuild stuff. I'm defintely not touching the tranny. But I wanna watch.

You also might want to look into solid motor mounts to help with engine flex.

Yo milzy, call me foo!

Yeah.. on bucks dyno, he was still making power at 6400rpm, I say take it up to 6700 at least so it dumps nicely into the next gear.. You spend more time in the bottom of 2nd than the top of first so get it as high as you can into second.
