Hmm... isn't that a good bit of work? What all does it entail in a quick breakdown?
I can't lose my daily driver for more than a few days really lol.
EDIT: I mean't exhaust part... intake is probably cake.

All of what I mentioned above can be performed in 1 afternoon (given you have the ported LIM and exhaust manis before to you tear into any thing). 3-4hours if you've done it before or slightly longer if it is your first go at it.

Ok... I've been reading this:
http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=72094
I don't know that I trust myself that well with a dremel. Anywhere you know of that you can get the LIM already ported? Or even the exhaust? You've sparked my interest lol.
I suppose I'd be better off buying an LIM off ebay and doing it myself.. then perhaps try listing my old LIM to get rid of. The exhaust is what scares me. Then again, I just remembered my gf'* grandpa used to work for PennDOT, and has an entire garage complete with an oxy acetaline torch and every tool I had in my vo-tech class (minus the $40,000 alignment rack).

Post in the wanted forum for a L36 LIM, maybe you will find a ported one. Depending on your time frame with the exhaust manifolds if the 97,98 filament is the same I might be able to set you up with a set of ported manifolds at a good price .

Alright... thanks. I'm in no rush honestly... just let me know of a price and any approximate time. I'm still reading into the LIM lol. I wonder how much shipping would be from OH to south central PA on an item like that... or perhaps I could figure out some other way since I travel to MI from time to time to see family.

Hmm... I just did some searching on e-bay and was very pleased with the prices I was seeing on the manifold. So even if I did goof it up, it'* not a hella expensive part to replace. I assume you're moradparts?

I bought my L32 from Ed, he is a great guy to deal with. It was funny when my dad and I went to pick up my motor.... "HI Ed! I'm Ed! Ed this is my dad Ed."
I'm merley a 21 year old (as of today) who knows a few things about cars and machining among other things.

Haha ok cool... just wanted to confirm that... I started getting pretty confused there. I've made the moves necessary to get some more info on this... including requesting some opinions, and requesting either a damaged LIM to practice one, or an already ported one.
BTW... happy b-day. I still have about two and a half years until that age, however the gf just turned 21 in July and she said it'* not all that different lol. I guess I'm the same way about when I turned 18, always thought it'd be so different... and it really isn't lol. Then again... she doesn't hang out with the people like I do where being 21 may be beneficial lol.
