In need of help and tips for what to do...
Hey guys I am new on here. but I have a 2000 bonneville (non-supercharged)
My friend works at a junkyard and says that he has a spare supercharger and ecu from a motor there that he knows works great....
My question is what am I going to expect? Do I need anything else to utilize or install the charger on my stock motor....
Obviously I will need the pulley and stuff but assuming the charger is complete and the ecu works fine, is there anything else I need to get or grab off of the other motor?
Thanks for your help... and if there is a sticky somewhere, I am sorry, I searched but could not find anything.
THanks,
Mike

All 87-2005 Bonnevilles are automatics.
Can your idea be done? Yes, but for far more work than you realize, and far far more cost and issues. The engines are NOT the same. Neither are the transmissions.
In order of LEAST desirable from reliability, skill level, and cost to MOST desirable for cheapest cost and fewest problems:
1. Top swap like you propose.
2. FULL swap of engine, transmission, PCM (ECU, even if it'* not the correct term), and wiring harness, leaving you with a car that is still lacking the superior SSEi suspension and extra goodies.
3. Sell your car and buy an SSEi.
