Need to beat a 1967 fairlane V8.
I have a 1992 Bonneville SSE and I want to do modifications to upgrade my performance. I already have a new T-stat and a new intake. I would prefer not to change the exhaust but if it is neccessary I will. What other modifications can I make for performance gains? The easier and cheaper the better. Im doing this to beat my friend. She thinks she'* all cool because she has a faster car then me. Hopefully not for long.

dude.. your best bet will be to rig up her'* lol. Actually, like willwren said: the first performance mods, in the techinfo, is a great place to start. But a tune up can also mean a world of difference.. I know mine will [7 years of negectation really adds up]. So also consider that too.
