Default 1967 Bonneville

I have found a 1967 Bonneville for sale in my area. Anyone got any suggestions on what I should offer the guy? I don't know much abou it right now, so any input would be helpful.
Here'* what I do know:
1967 Bonneville Sedan
Dark blue
stock rear wheel skirts
NO VISIBLE RUST - don't know about the frame
engine type unknown right now

Depends? Is it a PERFECT show car?

For a simple fixer upper $3000 popped into my head.

Oh ya, that would be cool, like your own little Bonnveille museum.

Get some more info and go for it!!

The engine is going to either be a 428 or a 400, if it is original. I take it is a two door?

That would be sexy find if it'* a 428. Depends on mileage, interior...etc. (You know...) Fixer upper, yeah $3,000, that'* for a 400 ci. If it'* an excellent 428, no more than...$7500??? Let me look it up.

Check Kelley Blue Book, or [urlhttp://www.nada.com]. I've heard good thing about nada, simple user friendly, and accurate. I don't know how old they can date back though.

Have fun...let me know how much you bought it for, if you buy it.

ok, here we go....$8640 for a 400 great condition/$6060 for average condition/$3750 for a fixer upper.

for a 428 $9000 for excellent/$6313 for an average condition/$3906 for a fixer upper.

I hope this helps!!!

Looks like a bargain, I'd go for it... If I had a garage, that is. I mean this guy is practicly giving the car to you, man... Unless there'* a catch... There'* a catch, isn't it?

Did you ever get that beast?! Is it a 4 door hard top like where you can roll down all the windows and be left with B pillar? DAMMMMMMMMMMMN THOSE THINGS ARE BEASTS!!! I've always been partial to the '65 Bon. But the '67 is a one of a kind look that no other year Bon had (as if you needed more reasons for taking the car).

I say if the engine is nice and clean then its always a good indicator of a good engine however a dirty one probably isn't that good of an indicator of whether its bad... and when i mean clean i mean like showcar condition.
