Or simply use reflectex insulation. Scissors will be all you need.

alright willwren just finished the heat shield today let me know what you think as far as improvements

Looking good. Consider closing off the fender side of the box and adding a pickup hose from underneath to force more cool air into the box.

Ideally, you want it entirely closed off from the engine bay, and preferably insulated as well.

thanks, what exactly is a pickup hose and how do i go about insulating, willwren your a lifesaver
