Default My First Mod CAI

My first mod on my bonney Ordered the Rice pipe off of ebay its the aluminum one for the 92-00 honda civics, the K&N RX-4750 filter, IAT plugged into the filter.

Let me know what you think

Pipe looks great. Love the red anodizing. But for the time being, let'* call it an intake, not a CAI.

But we'll help you turn it into a CAI. The filter you have lends itself very well to attaching a heatshield.

However you like. BTW, CAI is COLD air intake. You have a HAI, and you're not getting the full potential.

My suggestion is to search the Forum and find the design you like the best, then do your best to copy it, or leverage and improve.

alright so im thinking about doing the heat shield with the acrylic like you have done and i read in an earlier thread that you attatched to the filter could u maybe send me some pictures of how you did yours thanks a lot!!

9 pics total, just change the "1" to any number between 2 and 9.

Keep in mind you don't have the double washer bottle, so your sheild needs to go much farther towards the fender. But you can see how it'* attached.
