clearing your corners. not a performance mod, but it looks sweet.
Clean your Throttle body, maybe run some seafoam through if it has never been done.

Your throttle body needs to be cleaned. All of them do about every 50k. Running seafoam through a vacuum line can clean deposits out of your combustion chambers. Restoring lost power (change the oil and plugs afterwards).

Frankly, in my book if you already have a gutted airbox, fix this first:

Then do the rest of a FULL tuneup, then do this:

When you realize how happy that made you, get a performance PCM, then wait until late spring or early summer for a totally unique idea.

Although it seems to be taboo here, you can do some weight reduction..

Gut your trunk, loose the floor mats, keep extra stuff out of your car, etc.

Seafoam wants to be sucked into the Upper Intake Manifold. The best access is the brake booster vacuum line. Take it in only a little at a time though...if you take in too much at once you can fill a cylinder with the liquid, hydrolock (solventlock?) and bend a rod :?

You do NOT want to induct seafoam at the mouth of the TB, as it may damage your MAF sensor. The TB wants to be removed from the car and carefully cleaned by hand so as not to damage any sensors. The bore and plate can be cleaned with a toothbrush and carb cleaner; the MAF wants to be cleaned with a special MAF-safe cleaner like this:

TB/MAF cleaning is covered in a Techinfo article. Link at the top of the page.
