Getting into the 12'* is going to cost you around the $8k to $10k range without nitrous, about $2k less than that with Nitrous.

Good luck.

Yup! Went from Bosch Platinums to the 55'* and felt a big difference in the butt dyno and the wallet.

You can't go wrong with plugs that cost less than $12 for 6 and perform as well as these do. They won't GAIN you anything from stock, but they should maximize your potential.

Were you being sarcastic or something?

Let'* save the off-topic chitter-chatter for the lounge and try to stick with the topic.

Platinums are bad for you as you already know. TR55'* will gain you in that respect, but not over the proper plug selection from the factory. Spark plugs don't add power. You adapt your plugs to work correctly to support your mods.

Gap your plugs at .060" until you start adding boost.

It seems to me that you've been listening to some import-tuner friends, as your performance ideas are along those lines so far. We have more experience with the Series 1 L67 engine than any other resource out there. So you can take our advice or leave it, but if you ask, and you don't like our answers, do it respectfully, then go your own direction.

If budget is no object, tell us your dollar amount you have available to mod with.

As mentioned Platinums are not good in an SC engine. Your knowledge seems to be a bit off on many of the other items you are asking and speaking about in this thread.

You've found a great forum for all knowledge about Bonnevilles and sister cars. Please.. take a little time and use the search feature to learn more.

Iridiums plugs are good in an SC motor, copper core have been proven to be slightly better...although need to be changed more often.
