Must... not... stereotype....

In all seriousness, listen to what all these folks have to suggest if you're actually looking for power and not to impress your import owning friends. Wilwren is among some of the most knowledgeable S1 owners out there, show a bit of respect for what he (and everyone else here) is trying to help you with.

Your school doesn't specialize in these drivetrains like we do. Don't start at the mufflers and work forward, and if you ask a question and we give an answer, you can bank on it. We've done it all and tried it all, and we know what works and what doesn't.

We'll continue to give advice as long as you ask, and as long as you listen to our advice. There are alot of common misconceptions out there, and this isn't the first time we've heard them, nor will it be the last.

If you choose to add about 50-60 hp to your motor, you can do it for about $1500. But you'd better save twice that for the trans, because you'll need it.

If you want to get even more serious, start with the basics, and get it running right, get a performance rebuild on the trans, and then open a new topic.
