Will an LS7 fit in a 2001 SSEi? Sorry for making a post for this, just wondering. I seem to always randomly appear when I think I want to do something to my car and then decide not to hehe.

the best thing you can do is mod your SSEi, with the time and money you can be running 10s with it

I'm sure with alot of $ and tons of time and fab work it could happen but in reality it'* not possible. But wouldn't that be sweet if it was much easier

Considering that physically the LS7 is the same size as an LS6 I don't see why it wouldn't fit. There is a guy on clubgp that put an LS6 in his 97+ GTP and I don't think there is enough difference in underhood space between the GP and bonnie that it wouldn't fit.

However, for the work involved and what it would cost, it makes more sense to me to just mod your 3.8.

Hmmm, what about a Ford Modular 5.4L DOHC 4 valve V8?

Or the 5.0L

Again, as others said, i am sure it could be done, but save the money and mod the 3800, they are very fast and durable engines...
