Also what about upgrading my fuel pump? I know the */C and non */C cars use different ones. If I had to I would, but considering that my fuel pump is only 2 years old, I'd rather not.

A friend of mine has a regal GS, and when he blew the original L67 we got a screaming deal on a L36 and transmission. Top swapped the L36, and put the HD diff in the non HD trans. It runs great, however he also has a 3.4 pulley and headers.

Also I worry about how to handle the PCM, I have a powertuner, but It will not pull a bin file down from it, it claims it is incompatible.

Honestly I should just shelve the idea, as the car is getting up there in the miles, and I don't need to be blowing up my daily driver.

the exhaust is very quiet with teh 3" catted DP on, and WOT is also very silent as well.. I think a stock 3.8 pulley or a 4.0 pulley would be great for you.

As i said before we'd love to have you down and show the cars off, we can get another GTP ower to stop down too

we didnot change the FP on the MCSS and we are running 19* of timing at WOT with L67 Fuel injectors. Fuel is not a problem

you prolly have an old OSID file in your PCM. DHP will only read the latest and greatest OSID. I dont know of the DHP forums are still active or not, but see if anyone has a New OSID for a 97 SE/SLE/SSEi

what you will need to do with your DHP is to write the file as a 96 SSEi when you swap

Shawns MCSS is a daily just like yours is
