Mod Opinions
I'd say get headers, then you could drop pulley sizes and not have too much of a worry with KR. Don't start tranny parts until you can replace a number of items in there(that engine cradle weighs a lot!).

drop to either a 3.2 or a 3.0
slp headers
3rd gen LSD
colder plugs and new wires (really need help here)
tensioner pulley
high flow cat (not sure about this; depends if it will pass emissions)
possibly even an intercooler, mainly if i decide to go with a 3.0
current mods are: 3.4, FWI, 1.9:1 rr'*, or rods, LS6 springs, autolite 104'*, PCM

What I think your list should be if not going for a cam...
SLP headers
Autolight 103'*
AC Delco (stock) wires
Magnaflow cat
full sized intercooler
42 lb. injectors
updated pcm for injectors and adjustable timing (or get a Power Tuner or HP Tuner)
3.0", 2.9", 2.8" pulleys
With those mods many people have been able to put down 300+ FWHP.
