Maybe the LSD is the way to go.

Traction? Two ?'* How many times do you honestly go to the track a year? How many cars are out their right now with stock LSD'* with alot more mods then you that don't have a problem with traction? I/C is the best mod to increase power and engine safty.

I agree with BlazinLo. Think about an LSD later. An IC will do much more for your ET than an LSD.

dude Ryan like tracks the car every week.....or atleast he did when he was stock, he cant even get traction on street tires from a 35 roll

traction loss will be a result of the 3.0 pulley, which is made more possible to run by adding the intercooler... the IC itself has no affect on traction, if anything it will increase traction by providing more weight over the front wheels... lol

Ahh didn't know... Then don't take this personally Ryan but you need to learn how to lauch your car. If it is stock and you can't get it to launch an LSD is def. not going to help you out. My vote is for I/C

from your list of options.

Headers
High flow cat
3.2 pulley & tensioner
Plugs and wires
Intercooler
LSD

You might need to look at injectors if you drop to 3" or lower pulley.

You can have the car cammed for the price of an intercooler. The cam will provide the ability to add smaller pullies as well as give you the affect of added duration (kr killer) and added lift. Downside is you will have to go back to 1.6 rockers. Intercoolers are overrated in my opinion for lightly modded cars. The bang for the buck is extremely low. At most you may be able to drop .2 to .3 sizes in pulley but your still restricted by the stock cam and manifolds to process that air. The only thing you will do is boost stack. While this is great for torque your power output will not be as good as the cam. Remember that the faster you spin the blower the more horsepower it takes to spin it. You may only see 2/3 of the power that smaller pullies would give you because of the parasitic loss but you will see 100 percent of the power from a cam.

Just my opinion.

In fact, if I had it to do over again, I would have done heads before my intercooler.

I would say headers & then maybe a IC. I can't see how adding much more boost with stock manis would be good. But Rogue brings up a good point about a cam
