Justin, is that the current state of your engine? Looks like your doing some big work there.

Actually, the current state of my engine, is this pic minus the rods, lifters, and lifter retainers. She'* coming along.. just need to wait to hear back from some local machine shops on getting the heads decked.. and for some cash to pay for it all. She'll be running by mid-April [when my mom leaves for Chicago for a week ].
