Don't worry about changing the belt out yet.... get the other pulley on there first. If that belt is slipping right now, that means you are not getting full boost and is probably a good thing at this point.

In the very LEAST get the 2.55 pulley back on, then get scanned and change the belt.

far as getting rid of it. it can be many things...
one thing you can do is Gap the TR55'* to .055 and see if that helps.
other thing are Exhaust manifold leaks, vac leak, carbon, something flapping around...(engine bay)

i do think i have a cracked manifold i here a little exhaust leak. i will probably pull them off this week and weld them and grind down the welds on the inside of the pipes."I read that on another forum post"
