Don't worry about changing the belt out yet.... get the other pulley on there first. If that belt is slipping right now, that means you are not getting full boost and is probably a good thing at this point.

Like bandit said... trust willwren here. He has been there before...... NOBODY here wants you to waste your money or kill your engine. We are here to HELP you.

In the very LEAST get the 2.55 pulley back on, then get scanned and change the belt.

cool good

far as getting rid of it. it can be many things...
one thing you can do is Gap the TR55'* to .055 and see if that helps.

other thing are Exhaust manifold leaks, vac leak, carbon, something flapping around...(engine bay)

yes that could be... but the First set in doing a pulley is scanning for KR.
even is he gets more Boost with the new belt and better tension he could still kill his motor with KR that he could and will still be getting.

iv learned a lot int he past 3 weeks with pulleys and KR and stuff.
Thanks willwren / boosty
yes, agreed.

rivi, do you have access to a scantool with live data?

We're repeating information over and over in two seperate topics. Which one do you want to keep alive? We'll lock the other.

PLEASE (for those that are reading this) keep up with both topics for the time being. This is rather frustrating.
