Default Magnaflow installed!

Got my magnaflow exhaust put on today. Love the sound but not loud enough. I already made my appt. for tomorrow to get my ressonator taken off. Great exhaust but a little it on the expensive side.

did you get the one for an F-body or just a universal fit? did you keep the single outlet or make it duals? and i very much second the sound clip cause im thinking of buying a magnaflow as well...their universal fit ones are like 65 bucks...how much did yours set ya back?

I was talking to Scott @ Alex Exhaust (MNCGP and MNBonnevilleclub members get discount here) a couple weeks ago and he said he doesn't like putting Flowmasters on 3800 specifically because they sound tinny. He said they are louder (which has been proved), but the Magnaflow has a much deeper, throatier note. I did make a similar mental note of this myself when the Magnaflow Bonneville (my 1999 SSEi with resonator) was run next to two Flowmaster Bonnevilles (BonneMeMn'* 1993 SLE w/no resonator and Zzzzzeke'* 1994 SLE with resonator) two days earlier.

I went with the f-body muffler (set me back 195 canadian) Got dual exhaust out the back. The tips set me back 140 canadian. The install was 60 and to remove the ressonator (got it done today) cost me 40, i could of done it myself for cheaper but ohwell. Its sounds awsome and nice and loud up to about 3000-3500 rpm then kinda gets quite till about 4500-5000 rpm then screams the rest of the way up. If i knew how to put a sound clip up i would. I dont even know how to post pics up of my car. If someone could help then i could see what i can do. Bye for now!
