Just bought a 95 SSEI
Hi,
I just purchased a 95 SSEI.
I already have a highly modded 98 GTP.
I was looking to keep it stock looking and sounding but have it run mid to low 14'* and keep it reliable.
This car is meant to be my day to day car.
I guess my first questions are...
What are the minimum mods recommended to go to a 2.7" pulley and what belt to use with it, or do I just change to an oversized tensioner.
I'd also like to put a 180 stat in it but I have no idea of part numbers or if they are the same as a Series II 3800.
Is there a way to keep stock exhaust to accomplish this and is there a U-bend on this car like the GTP'*?
What is everyone'* recommendations to get me an easy low to mid 14'*?

Awsome!, thanks for the quick reply
What is the stock exhaust pipe size on these cars, and the oversized tensioner pulley... are they the same 3.5" I believe that are used on Series II motors, if so.. I have an extra already, as well as a 180 stat for it.
How about plugs, any recommendations?
From searches, I've seen everyone here likes NGK'*
Anybody recommend autolites?
I was thinking 605'* should do it.

NGK TR55'* would be perfect, or the Autolite 600 series one heatrange colder. (forget which it is).
The same tensioner pulley for the Series 2 is perfect. Exhaust is 2.5" manderel bent stainless, but your short pieces coming out of the muffler are 2.25".
