Its black ext. and int. Leather seats and its all in place. The only thing Im concerned is that on the dashboard, it indicates Traction Off. What does that mean? Im not familiar to any Pontiac. I also want to do some upgrades on the engine, where do I start?

Start with a 180 Thermostat. It will keep operating temps down. Then go for a tranny cooler if you want. It will help a little bit. Then go for a smaller supercharger pulley. This will increase your boost. You want to also put on some sort of a cold air intake with a cone filter. A lot of people make homemade intakes. This should get you started off well. Look at some of the other Series I guys and see what they did.

As for the TC thing, something may be disconnected.

Does your ABS light stay on too? Does ABS Work? Your TC is off, and frankly it doesn't do anything good besides bog the engine anyways....

this one is simple.. but it might just work. ..check your traction control button down by the gear shifter and press it down. ..it might turn ON your traction control system, lol. ..just thought that might be the problem. hehe

The traction thing could just be the button, if that doesn't work, you probably need something like the controller unit for it ($$$)

I would recommend a 180 t-stat first. You probably already have tranny and oil coolers in yours, but another tranny cooler wouldn't be a bad idea in your warmer climate. For power I would add a cone filter intake, 2-5" - 3" exhaust (depending on how heavily modded you go), 2.4-2.5 SC pulley, full aftermarket ignition (like MSD coils, wires, and controller), slotted rotors and ceramic pads, and that'* just to name a few.

I have the same ride (almost literally) as you so let me know what way you want to go with this and I'll let you know what I've learned about mine.

More than likely the traction control system is deactivated due to a problem with the speed sensors or other. You need to have the ABS codes retrieved by the dealer.

ABout the tranny coolers. In the WArmer climate then may be good for keeping the temps lower, but in other areas it isnt needed unless you are towing with your car.

I'm just suggesting from what i have heard about the Grand Prix'* and I'm assuming that it'* the same is for the bonnevilles as they have the same powertrain.
