Default looking for intake, also a little trouble shooting

so im looking for some starting performance mods for my 99 ssei. definatly an intake..recommendations? also, i believe my lifter is broken or i have a leak in my exhaust manifold, because upon acceleration there is a ticking noise that is pretty noticable. it blends in to the normal exhaust noise, but it is noticable. any experience with this?? thanks guys

if youre looking for a cold air intake, k&n is the way most people choose to go. i think they guarantee the most out of their intakes too

K&N doesn't offer an intake for our cars.

The best intake on the market for the 3800'* is INTENSE'* Fender Well Intake (FWI).

Please post your mechanical issues in th 92-99 section. We'll help you with them there.

the best intake you can get is the one you make and for the record K&N isnt the best filter not for MAF cars like ours get The AEM DRY FLO it never needs oil or special cleaners just soap and water and has a higher efficency and CFM rating than the K&N

The best INTAKE is the INTENSE FWI. We've built and tested them all. It has nothing to do with the BRAND of the filter. We're talking INTAKE here.

Please save the mechanical troubleshooting for the mechanical post in the proper section when the time comes. This section is reserved for Performance topics.

I see you dont understand what i ment I said that AEM filters outflow K&N and i seriously doubt you tested them all on a dyno because there must be a hundre diffrent pipe diamters and ways to build a FWI so there is no concrete way you can make the intense FWI the best because that is merley youre opinion not fact
