I'm new to the list, and I was wondering if someone would share the following:
(1) what size K&N cone are you using
(2) what'* the part #
(3) where'* the best place to get the best price on one
(4) what'* involved in adding a K&N cone to an '87 Bonneville
My dad has an '87, and I'm trying to (remotely) help him set up a K&N at first, and then possibly a custom Cold Air Intake a little bit later down the road.
Thanks in advance.

I sell an Air Intake tube which uses a K&N 6" closed ended cone on my store too.
Just remembert the 87-91 Bonnies had a different airbox setup than the 92-99. Might have to be creative if there isn't an off the shelf solution. Rat, do you have one for these guys now?
Rocketman. You look to be in the same neighborhood with one of our Moderators.....Jr's3800. He'* on the Space Coast as well. You guys should hook up. He has 2 Bonnies, including your generation.....and an Actron scantool for when you get in trouble!

Thanks for the replies.......I'll see if I can get in touch with the moderator as you suggested....always plenty to learn from someone who has already been down the path before....
For reference, we also have a '98 Grand Prix GT and an '89 20th Anniv. Turbo T/A in our stable.....

In response to willwren'* recent post - no pics of our grand prix, but here'* a shot of the TTA I took a few yrs ago. I was using a disposable camera, so the quality isn't the greatest.
