Good point.....
How much do you pay for a run at the dyno?
I haven't phoned up any places around here... but my friend said they normally charge $78 for a run. That sounds a bit much for me... $78 a few times can go towards making power instead of measuring it. $35 wouldn't be too bad.
All prices are in Cdn funds...

I paid $35 U.*. for 2 pulls, however that was at the MIGPC dyno day where there were over 50 other cars being dynoed so we got a pretty decent group discount.

I think some places charge by the hour... like you can run it... then tweak it, then run it again. I think that was something like 100USD an hour but I have not looked in a while...

Congratulations on your numbers Todd!

I think the spark and fueling changes we made today will increase your peak power a little bit more. As of this afternoon, your current PCM is now exactly the same as the 'production' INTENSE Standard PCM, with the exception of your slightly firmer shifts under heavy throttle.

Scott

p.*. - wasn't the 32 second PCM rewrite process impressive?

Thanks Scott, sincerely. You guys make it all possible

Oh, and the 32 second write just means you can do 4 times as many PCM'* for me in the same amount of time (yes its damn impressive)

Not to get too off topic or anything but thats a ton of power for our transmissions. Ive heard about them being weak for upgrades since our cars are so naturally strong, but once you reach that point is there ANYTHING we can do about it? Like a stronger drop in transmission or a rebuild/upgrade to raise the maximum torque limit from them?
Or are we stuck replacing them alot?

You can either be proactive by beefing up the tranny with stronger parts. Or just replace it with a stronger tranny when it dies. INTENSE has a nice transaxle that is a good upgrade. Expensive, but strong. www.intense-racing.com.
