Default INTENSE Turbo Car Starts 2004 Race Season with Strong Showin

We will get all the new goodies listed on our website within the next few days, but here is a quick recap of our first outing in 2004.

1. spark plugs = .035, timing = 16 degrees, AFC = 87%, FP = 45 psi, boost = 14 psi, tires = 10 psi, wheelie bars = 1/8, launch = 3,000

1.822 4.831 7.235 @ 103.63 9.297 11.037 @ 129.11

2. AFC = 89%, boost = 16 psi, launch = 3,100

1.805 4.804 7.220 @ 103.02 9.290 11.040 @ 128.41

3. replaced spark plugs = .035, launch = 3,200

1.776 4.742 7.127 @ 104.23 9.165 10.887 @ 130.19

4. timing = 18 degrees, boost = 18 psi, launch = 3,300

1.652 4.593 6.961 @ 105.14 8.986 10.693 @ 131.37

5. timing = 20 degrees, boost = 18 psi, tires = 9 psi, launch = 3,500

1.709 4.623 6.975 @ 105.85 8.982 10.673 @ 132.74

6. boost = 20 psi, tires = 8 psi

1.849 4.837 7.200 @ 105.32 9.281 10.910 @ 132.82

7. boost = 22 psi

8. boost = 24 psi, wheelie bars = 0

9. boost = 26 psi, wheelie bars = -1 turn, launch = 3,700, lost accessory belt during burnout, overheated during pass

10. boost = 28 psi, launch = 3,800, blew throttle body hose

11. boost = 30 psi, wheelie bars = -2 turns, launch = 3,900, blew throttle body hose again

We were getting pretty aggressive by the end of the day, huh?

I just checked your site this morning and was DISAPPOINTED! Glad you posted your numbers. It was fun seeing how it went in Rogue'* posts, but there were a couple updates I really wanted to see.

Great success! Not far from the 9'*. Any special plans for getting there?

30PSI. That'* insane. With the right tuning, that boost could probably get the GP really close to 9s.
