Unless you sent your PCM in to be tuned (and your car wasn't run during down time) you will need to get a CASE Learn procedure done.

Anytime you physically change the PCM, camshaft, or crank sensor you should have the CASE done.

Are you confusing it with the SECURITY relearn? That you can do yourself, but you need the dealer to do the CASE learn.

Default case learn

yeah i was a little confused, done a bit of reading between here and 3800pro and i have managed to figure it out, the instructions on the intense website are the security relearn, i was reading about a relearn procedure that uses no scantool?, driving on the highway 55 mph, several cycles of decelerating, i dunno about this procedure, i'd feel more comfortable having a scantool hooked up to give me a confirmation. friend of mine has a snap on scanner, hopfully he can do it for me, my gm dealer is a pain in the rear, trying top charge me like 145 bucks!!! hahaha i don't think so

If your friend with the Snap On has the availability for your year...they should be able to perform the CASE learn.

Takes less than a minute. Many of us with advanced scan tools or tuners have the ability.

Maybe check your local 3800 forums for someone with the tools if your friend is unable.
