intense pcm results.
We recently bought a 2003 SLE with 9000 miles on it. pretty much loaded. only $13000 too.
My question is about an intense PCM. I'd like to get one, but I'm not exactly sure what options to select. I dont plan on doing much more modding, except possibly a FWI. I'd like some more throttle response, and just an overall boost in performance. which options on their sight would be the best choices?
Along those lines, what kind of performance difference am i looking at with the PCM swap? What about with the PCM and FWI?
Thanks alot!
EDIT: Also, how hard is the PCM to install? and how long does it take?

I would get the FWI first and then decide if you want the PCM. In my mind the PCM is something you get to help build on the modifications you already have in place.

yes your best bet is to call Todd at Intense (X10
and tell him what you have and he will recommend the best for you
if you dont have to drive the car while the PCM is being done, then you can send in YOUR PCM and then they will send YOUR PCM back to you and you dont need to have a CASE learn done..

What kind of performance results can i expect from the PCM? Also, how much does a case learn usually cost, and how long does it take?
I'm a college student, so i can't really go for a week or 2 without my car running.
Also where is the stock PCM located? I haven't had a chance to get under the hood and check it out, but does anyone have a picture of the PCM location?

I believe it'* in the airbox on your car, like mine. Not sure how you access the Bonnie one, though.
Expect a small increase in power, a little more if you have the FWI at the same time. The biggest difference will be in the way the car shifts. The PCM will firm up your shifts and raise the shift points. Trust me, you'll definitely like the way it feels.

PCM? Not much for mileage. Maybe worse when you learn to enjoy it.
FWI? A mile or two per gallon on the freeway if you continue to drive the same as before. An intake is an MPG adder.
