#1) I'm sorry if your email got missed, personal changes a few months ago let a lot of things fall throught the cracks.
#2) As far as I'm concerned there is no bad side to our PCM it will not hurt the motor assuming all your sensors are in good working order. Our PCMs can if you choose advance max timing, raise shift points, add fueling, increase shift line pressure, lower fan turn on points etc... All these things you can choose from our website when you order a PCM.
#3) Your 2000 is extremely hampered by torque management. If you want to be faster, you need our PCM its that simple. Look at the top 9 fastest Bonnies. They ALL use our PCM.
#4) You do NOT need a CASE if you send your PCM in to be flashed. If you pay for overnight shipping this means your car is down for 2 days. Otherwise you will need to have a CASE done at a dealership or mechanic with a snap-on tool capable of doing a CASE learn. Its a 5 min procedure that should not cost you more than 10 bucks.
Hope this helps.

For an N/A car it will be more for limiters removed, fan speed changes, better shifting etc... I don't know that it will do a whole lot 1/4 mile wise even if you select more timing. However it you wanted to change shift points, for rockers or a cam, or change MAF tables for different throttle bodies, or change injectors or things like that, a PCM can make a big difference.
I thought changed shift points were included in the price.
Well I did intend to get it for my limiter to be removed but how much would I have to pay to change the shift points and whateverelse I should do to see some improvement

Without rockers or a cam you dont want to raise your shift points. GM sets your shift points correctly for your stock powreband. Anything above it and you lose power (your HP curve drops off above stock shift points). Rockers make more power above stock shift points as well as cams which is why raising them helps with those mods.
