Intense PCM
Here'e one for the performance gurus.
I keep hearing alot about Intense'* PCM'* and how awesome they are in terms of overall drivebility. I sent Intense an email asking if these things decrease overall reliabilty,-like going bad prematurely or other items on the car go bad early, etc. I received no answer. Of course that makes me think right away,- stay away from these things -you're just asking for trouble.
What'* your guys'* experience with Intense or PCM upgrades in general? I have a 2000SSEI, 180 thermostat, NKG 55 plugs, 3.5 */C pullet/Gatorback belt and K&N filter. Runs awesome and no reliablity issues. Don't know what the PCM would add exactely.

When did you send the email? They are closed on the weekends I believe.
Anyway I support Intense 100% and they support me with any questions I have, no trouble what so ever.
The Intense PCM can be custom programmed to your car or you can get a generally tuned PCM with all the basic modifications everyone "needs". This includes turning on the fans at lower temps, increase in timing (depends), and a bunch of other stuff I honestly don't understand....so wait for a reply from Intense on the nitty gritty details.

I sent that email to Intense 2 months ago.
That was during the change in their forums. They were doing alot of reorg at that time. INTENSE, under normal circumstances, will be right on any questions you have. Check out http://www.3800pro.com/forum/ for a direct link to them, and feedback from other customers. Nothing but good experiences with INTENSE stuff on our forum.

I will seriously look into getting one. What'* the thing about CASE learn after installing the Intense PCM? Sounds like Stealership will get me for $$$ after the PCM install. Any way around this?
