Default Intake Manifolds: should I buy?

OK, I got a series I 3800. And some guy is selling both and upper and lower intake manifolds from a series II 3800 (199.

Would replacing my intake manifolds with these series II intake manifolds give me a horsey power increase? (are the intake manifolds any different from series I to II?) Would those parts fit on my engine.

I'll post the pics depending on the answer I get.

I don't think they will fit. Different bolt hole locations and cooling passages... :?

You do not want the intake manifolds off a Series 2. They are the ones that crack and warp from heat.

Quite right!
Series II'* will not work due to different bolt patterns & coolant passage locations.

Both are right, yours are better, and they'll fit.

they will not fit, the series 1 and series 2 have different valve sequences...

Quit trying to flame me, this isn't Hard OCP
