Anyone have any ideas how to get one of these, and how much they would actually cost. (pure curiosity from lack of money)
I searched the wilson manifold web site and couldn't find anything.

I use an equal quality company and in my opinion the company I use is better and the intake will follow the stock dimensions much closer and the cost is $2000.00. It can come with NOS bungs and whatever TB connection you want. Obviously the unit I have produced for you will outperform the rest and if you want an exact copy of that unit above it would be very easy and may be cheaper. I am willing to eat 100.00 of the cost just to see it happen. Sorry no free unit as of yet I am not able to give away 2000.00.

So for the first buyer it will be 1900.00. I can assure you it will be better that the one posted in that picture. My unit is my deal so it will not be posted on the net buy the builder. A unit like the one there would cost 1900-2500.00.

The unit in the picture is in reverse and would not work on your application also the unit in the picture is combined with the lower manifold. I can have a whole unit made like that but "better" for your application. A serious buyer can reach me at 559-709-4127.

For the series one we Port and polish and offer an external polish so it is all shiny. Its on our site under upper or lower manifold port and polish. I know I say it over and over but if you want it I can get it for ya. and when it comes to porting and polishing stock product can be modified by Dp for a relatively cheap price with the best results.

I have a series II N/A, can the lower manifold be ported or is there no benefit because the plastic part cannot be matched to it cause its crappy. Also, does the price for the port/polish include a core charge, or is it buying a new stock piece that is modified and sent out?

Ty, thanks for your numerous and informative replies, you're a big help

I am not 100% sure and really there is only one way to find out. There will be a core charge and my core charges are always included...unless we suggest sending your stock unit in which case there is a 7 day turn around.

You do have the option of porting the Lower Manifold to the Cylinder Heads still though! Yes, porting it to the Plastic Upper would be a waste since you can't modify the Upper itself (at this time) until someone finds a metal replacement for this item.

I will look into the port and polish on Monday but I we can set you up with a good port and polish. I can also get you heads for the series 1 and 2. About to go on a bit of a rant...I am not publicly going to name some of the fuzzy math companies but you will find when taking the information they provide and sending it to other engine builders with no vested interest in this engine or area that it is alot of money for inflated claims. Actually the only well researched heads I have seen are designed specifically for a car that loads the heads so.. well I wont say anymore.

Well actually I will say one more thing the heads we provide are made for a stock to slightly higher load so you can feel gains with a stock or slightly modified car. No need for extreme cams or "power adders. Obviously if you slap on some happy juice or a Power adder your going to see more hp. same with our manifold you will feel the difference but it will be based on the stock engine. I am willing to set up anyone who wants a complete Port and polish from Tb to Heads at cost just to do it. I really want a shot at a series 1. I figure they are begging to be done. I am not going to guess at the total hp gain on a series 1 or 2 ported and polished but I will tell you I will provide a deal for either. Oh I send these heads to the same guys who build 500hp ecotec'* And 11 second Grand Amí*.

What do you mean "at cost just to do it"?

I mean I have the builder who has done series 1 and 2 and was a little ahead of his time...and he supplies me with all my series1 or 2 port and polish deals. I am willing to pass on my cost to have him do all the components necessary to acquire a photo and data library. I offer this for series 1 and 2. I am also willing to eat shipping in some cases.

Now if you want the whole engine done I can have that done as well and it will be perfect. Once again there is no real (big enough) market so I canít drop all the cash to follow through with a build like this. I am willing to reduce the cost for the person already interested in building their engine in turn for pics and stats. For a serious person I will get a quote and I can have this going inside of a week. I can also get you a centrifugal sc put on. If I have my builder go over the engine you can be in the 450-500hp range. Yes I am sure you could go bigger but most people donít spend that kind of money so I will leave it at that.

I know I have said this a zillion times but I am a middle man willing to hook you up with companies who build for Rolls Royce, Bush, NHRA you name it I can connect you with top builders. For me I make money on the replacement parts the rest is truly a love of the car and the project.

That said I have been forced into other RWD projects due to the lack of interested builders in this arena. I have a deal with a 500hp Camaro that will be getting a bullet proof 700r (600hp rating) or a 4L80-e with a manual shift kit rated at 1000 hp. lots of fun and the kid driving this thing is a monster. Anyway its never cheap I wont lie about that but I can reduce the cost just to see it happen in a Bonneville....Any! Bonneville.

Ok back to painting the house.
