seen a few kicking around on Ebay. Any feedback on them would be appreaciated. (I tried doing a search)
Are they mostly crap?

the idea seems good, but it would be extremely difficult to actually produce REAL boost with an electric motor, atleast with one that fits under your hood.

Yeah, there'* that one by Thomas Knight that claims REAL boost, but you get it for only a few seconds, sorta like nitrous, and you then have to recharge the EXTRA batteries you carry around for it'* use. Plus, he doesn't offer any retrofitting, so you get a charger with no way to put it onto your engine without major fabbing. End result? It would be much cheaper and more reliable to just swap in an L67 and be done.

There'* still no free lunch, unfortunately...

Just find a turbo in a junkyard.....then there will be be nice gains and it won't cost a lot more than one of those pieces of ****.
