Default Electric Superchargers

What do you all think of this???? Looks functional.......But the reliablilty and the actual gains do seem realistic.....

Thats not even a SC, it would be an electrical turbo(hairdryer). Superchargers are belt driven.
It'* a gimmicky piece of trash.

In a word, no. You'd lose more HP from your alternator load than you'd gain from it.

Will,
Can we do an FAQ or sticky on this?

Let' look at a few quotes from the add:

One,
"Better Gas Mileage: The Supercharger allows your engine to burn fuel more fully and efficiently, resulting in MPG gains as high as 31%. It pays for itself in no time."

"Increases your cars gas mileage by up to 10%"

Two,
"Superior Quality: The Supercharger is made of solid steel and backed by a lifetime warranty. It is guaranteed to outlast your car. "

"Our Custom built Supercharger Features - * Tough Reinforced Plastic Housing "

Three,
"the Custom Auto Designs Supercharger add up to 35 horsepower to your vehicle."

"Gain up to 2psi equivalent boost"

My comments: 35Hp from 2psi?
My question for the seller: What is equivalent boost? :?:

Yes, let the ricers buy them and think they are the sh*t. ...And then we shall procede to waste them with our real superchargers. They will be :( , and we will be .

Don't get me wrong here, I'm not looking to buy one....I just seen it and was curious about other'* thoughts on it....Now if I had that money laying around and access to a dyno, I'd throw it on my pick up and see if it even does anything beneficial......
