30-32-30?

I present... The Fantastic Four! Two ported and milled heads, one ported lower intake, and one reground camshaft!

If you notice, the guys at Delta put a blue stripe between one lobe set. That is Ford Blue to give it more horsepower.

Additionally, Scott at Delta Camshaft was kind enough to hook me up with a free T-Shirt.

That said.... Lets get this show on the road!

Default Beware 56k! Beware!!!

I like posting pics. Here are some more.

Ben'* car decided to spring a leak just before he made it to my garage...

He told his wife he might have lost a head gasket so we could put on the new heads and cam.... I wonder if this is so he can push for a rear disk conversion?

Green gooo. This engine runs off ectoplasm and emits spirits of the damned from it'* tail pipe.

Pulling the rear head wasn't as bad as I figured it would be. Thank god you guys get big engine bays!(or small motors). Notice how convient the #1 cylinder is at BDC when you have to get in and work in the back.

The boys from Minnesota no longer hold me hostage with price gouging on beer. This particular beer came from Ames, IA.

I was told that pulling the rear manifold is a real bear on these cars.... I didn't have a problem once a few things were moved.

Seating the exhaust valves with a many year old Black & Decker valve lapper. Works great!

Not much to update tonight. Hit a brick wall which will hopefully be fixed tomorrow. Otherwise we'd be still working on reassembly.

I present... The mother of all problems....

So after trying everything we had in our arsenal at hand, we concluded we need a big big impact wrench. The one I have only does 350ft/lbs...

We DID get the heads assembled though. I present... Hand ported, and loaded(minus the rockers and rocker rail), L36 heads, with LS6 springs, and LS6 retainers.

That done, we went inside and made some food.

Here is what Ben ate...

Here is him eating it....

I couldn't resist to make mine custom though.... so I did.

So sorry about the useless pics, but I am out of good news for tonight. Tomorrow we will either get the bolt off with a big big tool, or I'll grind the damn thing off.

Just take the flywheel cover off, hold the flywheel with something and then try loosen it.
