Default Ignition systems

I was wondering what ignition systems people are running.

I was thinking about ACCEL 8.8 customs ( but would rather get a set if already available for the Bonnie )

and Splitfire sparkplugs.. I keep hearing that Bosch Platinums and +4 are horrid..

And MSD DIS 4...

I know I would need to upgrade all these for NOS.. but do they really make a difference ( minus the fact that at least you know that it'* more reliable ) for non-NOS application ??

P.*.
I heard somewhere that there is an aftermarket ignition systems that you can set the rev limiter to ( by killing the sparks instead of fuel ). I"m inquring because I would rather have that system in especially if I plan on going with NAAWWWZZZZZ .. the last thing I need is to have the fuel leaned out while it'* still dumping in NOS.. that would over rev the engine.. and ka-Boom !!!!!

I am running Taylor 8mm wires with AC Delco 41-932'*. I eventually will also go with the Jacobs coils but not until I have a coil die.

You won't ever find another Bosch on my cars. I have problems with electrode erosion. I run NGK V-max instead of splitfire. Same results, more durable, and the same results.

I would like to replace my Bosch +4'* but I can't afford another set of high quality sparkplugs right now.

Hmhh unless I don't buy one of my school books. That might work out and I don't really need that 40 dollar book.
