Hey, we got ourselves ANOTHER Floridian. Looks like we are growing by leaps and bounds in this state
There are plenty of things to do to increse your current power levels. But first the basics need to be addressed. How well has the maintanance been kept up on your car? I ask this because though I am fan of adding power, I am a bigger fan of reclaiming LOST horsepower. That said, make sure all consumables are replaced (filters, fluids, plugs, wires), no codes exist in your computer (you have a '93...follow techinfo on how to get the codes out of your car), and your exhaust system is up to par (mainly the cat converter since the muffler flows pretty darn well from the factory). And clean your throttle body as those DO get quite nasty.

You should only need to spend 100-200 for maintanence issues following my advice above, more if you need to work on the exhaust.
Fender well intakes (FWI) are the first mod most people make, along with a 180* thermostat (highly recomended in our area).
I had another thought...is there any way tyou can check your RPO codes for us, especially for transaxle codes. Going to a numerically higher ratio (provided you have the lower ratio right now) will really do wonders for an L27 motor.

Don't.
Bosch plugs (at least the platinum series plugs...coppers are ok) do not mingle well with the GM waste-spark ignition systems. NGK and AC Delco are the main choices on this forum. I run Autolites and have not had any issues with them either.
