(Idea) What if I put this with that for the L36?

For an L36 you definately don't want 1.9'*. You want to go with ER rockers or SR rockers, or maybe 1.8'*. 1.9'* are too big for the L36'*.

If you go with a cam, I would seriously suggest looking at ZZP cams. As was said, nobody has really had much success with Intense N/A cams for whatever reason other than Wes. There are quite a few GT'* running ZZP cams that run quite well. And if you go with a GT1 you won't have to get gears or a tq. convertor either (although they wouldn't hurt) like are recommended for all the other L36 cams.

But like I said it all depends on how fast you want to go.

Nice advice. Let say that I want to be very respectable, maybe in stock SSEi territory, but not on a good day I'll get to stock SSEi territory but on any day I am solidly in the SSEi territory, does that make sense?

Also I want to keep the gas mileage good and avoid using premium and still be 100% streetable with no fuss.

A lot to ask for I know but I think it can be done. ,

Anything to make this motor go faster than stock.

Nice topic with lots of info. I am thinking of doing the Level 2 kit but wonder about the 1.90.1 rocker arms after reading this thread. Intense claims 30 extra HP which our transmissions should handle.

I will not be racing but I want some additional umpf when I floor the gas pedal.

Well, according to everyone 1.9 are a bit too excessive for the NA. I believe it'* because the L36 is not producing enough power stock to greatly benefit from 1.9 rockers but the 1.8 should do nicely.

If I'm wrong, please correct me.

Maybe INTENSE will be kind enough to let us get 1.8 instead of the 1.9 at no cost.

Oh, the Level 2 pkg comes with 1.9 rockers like Tom said, and I commented, "maybe INTENSE will let us swap out the 1.9 with 1.8 at no cost."

Is that clear or not?

I don't know, maybe Rogue can chime in. I certainly hope we can change the ratio. Because I'm dying for power.

Dude, you can have SSEi performance with a cam regrind. It'll give you power everywhere in the curve instead of strictly at the top end with rockers. You don't have to port the heads, either. In fact, if Doug and I could do it over again, I think we would leave the head ports alone and just get the compression raised (milling the heads).

You have specs? Who does the grind? If the compression gets raised, does that means premium gas?
