An increase in compression will mean the need for premium gas. Also with most PCM'* you will also need to run premium gas. And with a cam, you will pretty much need a PCM, meaning you will need to run premium gas.
It only costs $.20 a gallon more and you get better gas mileage with it.
The 30hp gain they talk about there is for a supercharged car. (which is still stretching it a little IMO) L36'* generally see about half the gains the L67'* do with high ratio rocker arms.
Based on what you say it sounds like you want your car to be a solid mid 14 second car. That will mean quite a bit of work at your weight. My suggestion would be:
Intake
Ported TB
PCM
ZZP GT1 Cam
PEM'*
UD Alt & WP pulleys
Then see where that gets you and go from there. You might want to scratch the cam out though and replace it with rockers because a cam install is not a simple job, and with all the supporting parts you'll need will actually end up costing around $600.

Nice topic with lots of info. I am thinking of doing the Level 2 kit but wonder about the 1.90.1 rocker arms after reading this thread. Intense claims 30 extra HP which our transmissions should handle.
