Default I need to know what exhaust i should get

I have a 93 ssei with an air intake and a pulley upgrade. I plan on getting nos soon as well and i would like to get an exhaust going before then. I was just wondering what to look for and where to get it.

Sounds complicated, but it'* really simple. You have no resonator in a 93, so buy a high-flo catalytic converter (about 100 to 125 bucks), and the muffler of your choice. An F-body (camaro/firebird) muffler of either the Dynomax, Flowmaster, or Magnaflow variety. There'* only 2-5 horsepower difference between these three, so you have to mainly choose by the sound you want in the end. Some sound clips have been posted, but take it with a grain of salt....or rice.....some of the cars you'll hear ALSO have a resonator, or don't have a performance cat, or have aftermarket tips.....no 2 cars will sound exactly alike with the same muffler.

Choose wisely, my son.

One more thing.....all your piping is 2.5" Mandrel Bent Stainless Steel. Keep it. Your outlets should be 2.25".

Remember to rent a pulley puller for it too, so you can get the old one off! I prefer flowmaster the most, magnaflow is a rougher, more aggressive sound.

There is no custom puller made for the 92-95 L67 pulleys. They're not press on pulleys like the Series 2. A standard 3-jaw gear/pulley puller will work if done carefully. You don't have to change your belt length if going with a 2.2" pulley on a 92 or 93, but I strongly encourage you to buy the ZZP oversized Idler pulley to give yourself greater belt wrap circumference around the smaller SC pulley. This will also help the belt length. This would also be a prime opportunity to go with a Gatorback belt.

As far as the muffler goes, ill probly go with a flowmaster because of the sound. And as far as the puller goes, thanx for the help ill go to autozone to get that. Ill order the tensioner later on down the road, when i have more money. ive put about 400 bucks into the car in the last month, and i still gotta get the exhaust and the nos not too far off in the future, but thanx for the help.
