Remember, he'* not supercharged, so even with a couple thousand dollars you're looking at 14s, maybe high 13s. The fastest Series 2 NA car from Intense only runs in the 13s, and it'* a Grand Prix. If you want speed, look into an L67 or else an NA performance rebuild with a stroker crank and high compression. But Twister'* right; think of the stock Bonnevilles out there right now that you can beat!
There are quite a bit of ricers here more than Ive ever seen anywhere else but they are all ghetto with their half painted body kits and big coffee cans so I doubt they have much under the hood.

- The fastest Series 2 N/A is ZZP'* Stroker and runs mid-low 12'*.

- Throw a 75-100 shot of NOS and you will be running a low 15 / high 14 for less then $500. Or if you dont like the Idea of NOS and you can turn a wrench and turn you L27 into a L67. It will cost you prob. a little more, but you will be supercharged and you will have whine!!!! Downside to that is that no one has done it in a Bonne (yet!). Another thing you can do that I don't know why no one has even pointed at is turbo'n there car. You will have to shell out anywhere from $2500-$4500 but you will easily be in the 13'* if not 12'*.

- As far as sending a Series 1 far into the 13'* and even into the 12'*, you have three major limiting factors:
1.) Tuning, we are OBD1 so you have to either shell out 2G'* for an e-prom burner or got a custom dyno tune.
2.) Transmission, the 4t60e is not the strongest and with most Series 1 Bonne'* on here around 100K most trans'* are on there last legs anyways.
3.) Miles, this kinda goes with #2. Most Series 1 engines are above the 100K mark - not the best for 12'*.

- But think if you go through the trouble to mod a Series 1, you can easly be in the top 5. Wether that be in the top 5 N/A, top 5 L67, or top 5 w/ poweradders.

You can always slap a turo on there, but you would be crossing over to forced induction terriroty, BUT you would be very unique! A new cam, rockers, headers, TB, and port and polish some stuff, you should be running very quick!

Ahh no use throwing a turbo on there. Id be better off slapping some kevlar between the body panels since the world is gonna end soon.

SIlly Boy

I would check into port and polishing services arond your area. Might be good for a 15hp gain, and your throttle response should improve slightly as well.

A new PCM would benefit you as well. It adds an average of 5-10 hp to your car. But I dont think you need one, but it would maximize your car to the fullest. IMO money worth well spent!

If you do get stuff ported and polished, let me know how much and for what!

I would say based on your mods that you might have about 180 crank hp. (~145whp) The engine is 170 to being with and you have an intake, t-stat, cat, and mufflers, thats not much for mods really. I would say its good for about mid 16'* as it sits, and high 7'* 0-60.

Actually I could probably save a ton if I did the porting myself. I would port the lowers and maybe smooth out the TB some.
