How did you get your car into the 14s so easily? Is this common for a pulley, cai and exhaust on the 93s. Im not looking to go all out but i at least want to get into the 14s so my car can hold its own.

he has a chip and some ignition mods as well, and a Ram air system to keep the intake temps down.

Chip and the mods. Coils don't do much.

Having the big mods is important, but having it setup right, (right plugs, correct gaps, right gas, good and clean etc...).

Chip, intake, exhaust, pulley, LOW miles in excellent running condition, all new tuneup items. Tire pressure dropped in front, tires siped, ELC suspension jacked full up, 1/4 tank of gas or less, at least 95 octane. Tons of cooling. Vented SC cover, ramair SC cooling, Ramair to the airbox, heatshield on the filter, IAT inside the filter, crossover pipe heat shield, extra tranny cooler, high-speed fan override, and on and on. I did not have my water injection on. Haven't run it in a year or more.

And my times are from a Gtech Pro Competition. This has been stated over and over, and it'* just a general idea of where you MIGHT run at the track. To be fair, every run I've had in the last year has been somewhere in the 14'*.

I know where your question originated from. Tell me if my explanation satisfies the curiosity.

Well i mainly just want to know about inexpensive and simple modifications that i can do to my car. Im not too sure about putting that nitrous on the car because i dont think my transmission can handle it, and i cant really afford too many more mods for this car because im going to college soon and i have to have reliable, inexpensive transportation.

My transmission is on it'* last legs right now. Getting worse as the days go by. My advice? Forget the NOS. Sell it, and use the money to get your car in top condition. You have alot of small issues with the car that are holding you back.

I was lucky to have started with a museum-quality purchase. Very lucky. I didn't have to spend much getting it running right before the mods started.

I was thinking about getting something a little quicker like a GTP after college. I figured whatever i got i could put the nitrous on that car and i will know more about it. Either way there is almost no way its going on the bonneville

Too many members to remember everything......

I just looked at your sig again. Your injectors and AFC are doing nothing for your performance. Is that part of your frustration?

Well that isnt really a frustration. IM still working on the fuel curve, and it isnt perfect yet, but the performance has improved a lot. I know it isnt because i have bigger injectors, its from tuning the ones i have.if i can tune it right and make it run the same, why spend the extra money on new injectors
