Trips, PLEASE take the time to read the topic. These questions have already been asked an answered.

The only moisture of any kind that can even get in there is the rain that falls directly on a blade or slot. Very little in the scheme of comparison from road spray.

As you can see with a closer match, the contrast is much less. Now imagine it all green including the vents. (and imagine the vents actually tight and fitting flush)
